About the Magazine

The MISSIO IMMACULATAE INTERNATIONAL is a monthly Marian and missionary review published by the Franciscans of the Immaculate and is edited in two languages: English and Italian. It presents various articles primarily on Our Lady in doctrinal and devotional levels, Sacred Scripture and history, spirituality and morality as well as in culture and arts.

The Patron Saint

Inspired by the example of St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe (1894-1941) who made use of modern communication especially the printing press for a Marian evangelization, we too published this humble magazine on Our Lady and the missions. St. Maximilian was known in his native Poland to be a mass media evangelizer who published Catholic daily newspaper, monthly magazines both for adult and children, bi-monthly magazine for bishops and the clergy as well as numerous pamphlets and books. The printing press was staffed by about 700 friars who were all consecrated to the Immaculate. But the miracle of his great work lies on the fact that this work was supported by generous alms of the Catholic faithful.

Subscription/Donation Needed

In a similar way, we wish to evangelize souls through this publication but we will need your subscription to defray the cost of the printing and shipping expenses. Our friars and sisters like St. Maximilian are responsible for the editorial staff as they put numerous publications as well both in English and Italian.
